Not the other Ordero
Other businesses also use the Ordero name. Ordero at ordero.si, made by Ordero SI LLC, is not affiliated with any of them: the Ordero that answers restaurant phones, described here, is the one at ordero.si.
How Ordero treats your callers
- It says what it is. At the start of every call, the assistant says it is the restaurant’s automated assistant and that the call may be recorded.
- A person when they ask. When a caller asks for someone, the call goes to your staff.
- No card numbers on the phone. Payment for the food stays between you and your customer.
- Your menu, your prices, your customer. It sells only what is on the menu you gave it, at your prices, and takes no commission on any order.
What happens to recordings and caller data
Ordero records and transcribes the calls its assistant answers and processes callers’ phone numbers, names, addresses, order details and messages on your behalf: to answer calls, take orders, show them in your panel, send order confirmations by text where that is switched on, improve how accurately your line works, and as the law requires. It uses service providers for telephony, speech, AI and hosting, under confidentiality and security obligations. It does not sell that data and does not use it to market to your customers. Recordings and transcripts are kept while your account is active and deleted within 90 days after the agreement ends, unless you ask for them to be deleted sooner or the law requires otherwise, and you can export your orders and calls before your account closes. All of this is section 7 of the Service Agreement.
What you sign
Signing up means accepting two documents you can read in full before you start: the Ordero Service Agreement and the Privacy & Location Notice. Each has a version date. To prove the signature later, Ordero keeps your typed name, the time, the version and SHA-256 fingerprint of the documents you were shown, your IP address and device, and your device’s location at the moment of signing. Signing online requires sharing it; if you would rather not, write to hello@ordero.si and the team arranges another way to sign. Those signing records are kept for as long as the agreement lasts and for 6 years after it ends.
How money moves
- Nothing before your line goes live. For the Voice Agent, nothing is charged before your Activation Date, and before then either side can end the agreement by email at no cost.
- Card payments go through Stripe. The Online Order System and Ordero Connect are billed by card through Stripe, and a card is added on Stripe’s own page, so the card number never passes through Ordero.
- No commission. Ordero takes no percentage of any order.
How to check Ordero yourself

- Read the agreement and the privacy notice at ordero.si/legal/terms and ordero.si/legal/privacy.
- Watch Ordero Connect answer example questions on its product page.
- Write to the team at hello@ordero.si with any question, before you sign.
