This notice explains what Ordero SI LLC ("Ordero") collects when you sign up for Ordero and use the Ordero panel for your restaurant, including your device’s location when you sign, and how we use it.
It covers the people who sign up and use the panel on behalf of a restaurant. How we handle the information of the people who call your restaurant is set out in section 7 of the Service Agreement.
1. What we collect
- Business details: restaurant name, legal name, address, phone numbers, website, type of restaurant and number of locations.
- Your details: name, role, work email, mobile number, and your password, which we store only as a one-way hash.
- Your choices: the plan and billing cycle you pick, and the settings you save.
- Your signing record: your typed signature; the time of signing by our server’s clock; the version of the documents you were shown and their SHA-256 fingerprints; whether you scrolled to the end; and each step you took during sign-up, such as opening the agreement and ticking the box, kept in a tamper-evident log.
- Device and network: IP address, browser and operating system, device type, language, time zone, screen size, and the approximate location our hosting provider derives from your IP address.
- Precise location at signing: when you tick "I have read and agree", your browser asks to share this device’s location. If you allow it, we record the latitude and longitude, the accuracy radius your device reports, and the time of the reading. We ask once, for the signature, and do not follow your location afterwards.
- Panel activity: sign-ins (time, IP address and device), password changes, menu imports and changes to your settings.
2. Why we collect it
- To create and run your account and your Ordero line.
- To verify who signed the agreement and that they could sign for the business, and to keep reliable evidence of it: who signed, when, on which device and from where. This protects you and us if a signature is ever questioned, and helps us spot fraudulent sign-ups.
- To keep your account secure.
- To bill you and to write to you about your account.
- To meet our legal obligations.
3. Location is required to sign online
Signing the Ordero Service Agreement online requires sharing your device’s location. If you would rather not share it, write to hello@ordero.si and we will arrange another way to sign.
You can withdraw the permission in your browser settings at any time. That does not affect a signature already made.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that host our systems and process data for us (cloud hosting, database, email and telephony) under confidentiality obligations; with our professional advisers; when the law requires it or to protect our rights, including in a dispute about the agreement; and with a buyer of our business, who would be bound by this notice.
5. How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account is open. Signing records, including the location and device information, are kept for as long as the agreement lasts and for 6 years after it ends, so that the agreement can be proven if needed. After that we delete or anonymize them.
6. Your choices
You can see and update most of your account information in your panel. You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@ordero.si. We may keep signing records and other information that the law requires us to keep or that we need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. Security
We protect your information with measures such as encryption in transit, hashed passwords, restricted access and tamper-evident signing logs. No system is perfectly secure; tell us straight away if you think your account has been compromised.
8. Changes and contact
We tell you by email before a material change to this notice takes effect. Questions: hello@ordero.si · Ordero SI LLC, Texas.
